Calling All Heroes Stampin' Up! Super Hero set

Want to see where I got my insipration for this fun card!? I get a weekly email from our church and you can see the graphic below... I thought immediately of the fun city silhouette stamp from Calling All Heroes and adding a sunset sky in the background!

So Thank You to Pastor Phil at Valley Bible Church for the inspiration! :)

HOW TO MAKE THIS CARD:

1. Cut Daffodil Delight cardstock to the size of your choice, mine was 3-1/4" x 4-3/4" so that it would fit on the Stampin' Up! Notecards.

2. Sponge ink onto the cardstock.. I used both Crisp Cantaloupe and Tangerine Tango - I swiped back and forth across the cardstock.

3. Stamp the buildings with black ink, I used Memento Black ink. Stamp a greeting if you wish. I needed Customer Thank You cards, so I used Thanks a Bunch from Occasions 4 You on page 8.

4. Punch stars with the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack and Daffodil Delight cardstock, .. the easiest way to keep them from going all over on your desk and floor is to put them onto a roll of Glue Dots... :)

5. Mount your artwork to the Whisper White Note card. (see below for link to order these supplies)

STAMPING TIP:

When you are inking your solid image stamps like this one, if you are not getting a solid coverage of ink, be sure to go back over the ink pad, and try inking at different angles until you get more coverage.. you'll want this one to be fairly solid when stamped.

Dotty Angles Celebrate Stampin Up card

I am back from Convention and will have lots of photos to share with you throughout the coming week or so, but today I wanted to share one last Convention Swap Card that I made to swap at Convention. I used the really fun Dotty Angles stamp set .. I love these festive polka dots! And yes, I know what you are thinking... She made a card without flowers!! :) LOL

Isn't this Celebrate stamp just perfect for this card!? You'll find it on page 13 in the catalog and it's in the stamp set called Fabulous Four. I inked that in Real Red ink.

I showcased the Star Framelits on this card using various patterns of Designer Series Paper in yellows and red, and then punched out the smallest star with the punch from Itty Bitty Accents pack. You can see all the specific products used at the bottom of this post.. click on any of them to place your order.

I colored the Rhinestones with the Daffodil Delight Blendabilities markers to give them even more bling!

I inked the polka dot stamp from Dotty Angles in Daffodil Delight ink, stamped once at the edge of the Whisper White cardstock, then stamped 2 more times as I came down the page but without reinking so that it would get lighter and lighter. Doesn't this just make the best festive card!?

Hip Hip Hooray for the Luv 2 Stamp Group Top Sellers!

Each month we celebrate the demonstrators in my Luv 2 Stamp Group who have the top 25 in sales in our group. I send a card and little gift to the top 10. I'm a month behind in sharing these with you but these are the cards I sent out in June for May Congrats! :)

I used several of the Project Life cards from the Happiness Is Card Collection (pg 189, #135307). I stamped them each the same with Hip-Hip Hooray you did it! from the Bravo stamp set (pg 133, #135380) in Island Indigo ink.

Wouldn't these little Project Life cards be adorable just by themself as a little "tuck in" in a lunch, a backpack or briefcase!? They are 3"x4". To make them into cards, I added them to a Stampin' Up! 3-1/2" x 5" Whisper White Note card (pg 194, #131527), and also added some designer Paper from the Confetti Celebration package (pg 186, #133692).

I'll let you enjoy the finished cards here... these are not all of them but a few. I added a stamped and punched personalized stamp that says You Are Amazing Congrats! Whohooo! You Did It! Order your personalized stamp online HERE.

Congrats to the Luv 2 Stamp Group Trip Achievers!

Something happened this year that has never happened before! There were THREE demonstrators in our Luv 2 Stamp Group that earned one of the upcoming Stampin' Up! Vacations!!!!!!! There have been 2 others (plus me) who have earned a trip in one year but never 3 (plus me). So a HUGE shout out to Wendy, Katina and Janet for earning one of the incentive trips!

This is what I ordered from Stampin' Up! and mailed to them so they can use it all year long on correspondence with their customers and downline!

TIP: Perfect Placement for Photopolymer Stamps

I am so excited to share this fun tip with you!! When I was on the Stampin' Up! Cruise earlier in May, Pam Morgan shared this great tip using Project Life stamps and I thought I would try it with the Endless Birthday Wishes set!

Have you ever tried to line up several stamps onto one project only to stamp most of them perfectly straight and then the LAST ONE is crooked!? UGH!! Right!? Well, this will solve that issue! Lay out all of your stamps at once onto your project, "grab" them all at once with ONE Clear Block, ink and stamp at once! Whohooo! Brilliant!

And here is the fun card I created with it! I stamped the birthday images onto a Project Life printed card!!

The card with the grid and 3 colorblocks is from the Everyday Adventure Project Life Card Collection (#135298) and I layered it onto a folded white card with some printed designer paper in the background (Daffodil Delight Brights Color Collection #130134, and Maritime star paper #133696. I finished it off with 2 of our new In Color ribbons available on June 2: Hello Honey #133671 and Lost Lagoon #133672.

The cute stars are from the new Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack #133787, available June 2nd. I stamped the images in Bermuda Bay ink #131171 and added Rhinestones to the centers of the stars. I added the shading on the cake image with a Blender Pen #102845.

Punch Art Sunshine with Watercolor Wonder DSP

March 05, 2014

Do you remember this CUTE punch art Sunshine that Lisa taught me how to make?

I decided to try something different... I took my punches and a piece of Watercolor Wonder printed designer paper from the 2014 Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog (page 23, item #132994) and punched out my sunshine out of that paper! Too cool, right?

I also used one of my new custom photopolymer monogram stamps for the birthday greeting on this happy little card! The background was created with the Decorative Dots embossing folder - a free item with your order during Sale a Bration! The Banner Punch is also a free Sale a Bration Item and the center of the sun is a 1-3/8" circle punch.

The clouds are pure genious.. Lisa taught us to use the Word Bubble framelits for those!! LOVE!
