One of our nieces just graduated from High School and I thought she might like one of the new "Documented" Stampin' Up! Journals to chronicle her High School years... maybe use it as an autograph book, add some pix, memorabilia, etc. ...

I stamped this little photo frame card about 15 years ago and put Lizzy's photo in it, and have kept it all these years.. I thought it would be such a cute 1st page in her Journal :)

Her beautiful smile hasn't changed a bit! You are a beautiful girl, Lizzy!

We love you lots!!

I stamped a Scalloped Tag Topper punched tag with the new Bravo Stamp set #135380 (pg 133 new Annual catalog) with new Blackberry Bliss ink and added Blackberry Bliss ribbon.

I am adding a few extra goodies with the Journal.

Above, I selected some cards from the Everyday Adventure Project LIfe pack to add to her book, and below, I stamped CLASS OF 2014 with the new Rotary Alphabet stamp!

I added a package of the Documented Stickers to go with the journal as well.

I took a photo of my Stampin' Up! Color Coach for the cover and then embellished with Chevron Ribbon and some In Color Embellishments.

Of course the old magazines were in Black and White.. and I'd never cut those up anyway... but I always find it fun to look through them and look at the designs and ads!

My friend Cindee suggested that the weekly ads in the news paper from places like Target or department stores are also great sources of photo/color inspiration... what other sources will YOU USE to create your Color Inspiration Journal?
