I saw this fun idea created by Barbara Smith, Stampin' Up! demonstrator in Australia, and asked her if I could make a video and share my version of her project with you!
These darling castles feature the Stampin' Up! Myths & Magic designer paper (I cut out the dragons, knights and mermaid princesses), the Brick Wall embossing folder, some sponging and a fun idea for the castle door. You can also stamp, color and die cut images from the Magical Day bundle! Watch the video below for all the details.

Did you love the tip in my video about using the Classic Label punch to make the notches at the top of the castle!? I thought it was so clever and easy if I do say so myself :)
Don't forget to sponge the brick wall and add the fun hinges from the Sliding Door (barn door) framelit dies for just those little extra touches that make this project super special.
Did you catch this tip in the video? Color around the images in the Myths & Magic designer paper before cutting them out, then they will blend into the castle a little better than the white border. I used my Light Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends marker.

Believe it or not, these Petal Pair embossing folder Narrow Note cards were inspired by a tissue box... yep, seriously! These cards were inspired by a Puffs tissue box, and you can watch the story in my video below in this post! :)
I embossed each Narrow Note Card about 2/3 of the way with the Petal Pair embossing folder, then added different flowers to each one!
ABOVE: I colored flowers and the butterfly with Stampin' Blends markers and the Just Add Color designer paper and added them to the notecard. The Pear Pizzazz leaves are punched from the Fox Builder Punch.
BELOW: I added flowers from the Petal Passion stamp set (pg 23, Occasions catalog) with Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends and cut the finished stamp image apart to add to the card below. The sentiment is from the same stamp set.
BELOW: I stamped the flowers with Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist In Color Markers, and the Perennial Birthday stamp set and added them to the embossed card.
ABOVE: the Life is Beautiful sentiment is from the A Mother's Flair stamp set (pg 46 Occasions catalog), stamped on a "tag" die cut from the Bottles & Bubbles framelit die set (pg 32 Occasions catalog).

As I mentioned in my video tutorial above, I colored the background of one card with my Light Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends marker. It just lends a completely different feel to this Petal Passion designer paper!

Below: one design note of interest.. I colored the 1/4" Whisper White Organza ribbon with my Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends marker so that it would coordinate with my card (on the right). Have you tried creating custom colored ribbon?

I am excited to share a fun card and video tutorial with you today. I created these cards using the Waterfront stamp set, new to Stampin' Up! this month!
I was inspired by a similar design by Amy K on Instagram.. she does beautiful work! Each card is created with a watercolor paper die cut circle and a Stampin' Up! thick Whisper White Note card.

I just love the "wooden" adirondak chair on these cards. I die cut it with the Wood Textures paper stack and the Seasonal Layers thinlit dies. See THIS POST for more info and another card idea!
Top card: I love the blue glimmer paper from the Myths & Magic suite collection on page 37 in the 2018 Occasions catalog.. I think it lends a special touch to this card! The ribbon on the glimmer paper card is the Lemon Lime Twist Ombre ribbon.
Bottom card: the strip of designer paper on this note card is from the Eastern Palace specialty dsp pack and I added some Bermuda Bay ribbon from the Sale-a-Bration Shimmery ribbon pack.
