Stampin' Up! Falling in Love Suite Anniversary Card Idea

February is approaching.. that means we think about love, Valentines, and sending love notes to dear ones! Today I am sharing a card I made with an anniversary greeting, but you can change it up for Valentine's day or any occasion depending on the greeting you stamp!
The Falling In Love Suite from the 2017 Stampin' UP! Occasions catalog, pgs, 50-53 is just gorgeous! The lovely elements are so perfect for creating PRETTY cards!! :)
The "secret" on this card is die cutting the So Detailed Thinlit with the Falling in Love paper... see below for more info!
The products I used from the Falling In Love Suite are:
- Falling in Love Designer Paper, pg 51, #142788
- Very Vanilla 1/4" Satin Ribbon, pg 51, #142794
- Lace Doilies, pg 51, #142793
- Falling in Love embellishments, pg 51, #142791
- So Detailed Thinlit dies, pg 52, #142751
- Falling for You stamp set, pg 51, #143106 (wood mount) or #143109 (clear mount)
- So in Love stamp set, pg 52, #143112 (wood mount) or #143216 (clear mount)

The perfect embellishments for this card are the new Falling in Love embellishments (attached with glue dots) and the new Lace Doilies. They are vanilla on one side and white on the other so they go a LONG way in your crafting projects... AND you can add color by sponging or spritzing them, so the possibilities are endless!
The secret to this card was to die cut the Falling in Love paper with the So Detailed thinlit die. What a neat effect that gives this card! Then I layered that piece onto the "lace" pattern from the same Falling in Love package of designer paper. Don't you love the contrast? I think it's gorgeous!
I made this card on both Blushing Bride and Pink Pirouette cardstock bases - both of them work well.
The vanilla embellishments keep the soft look and doilies are perfect for this card.

I stamped the images from the So In Love stamp set on the tags above, and from the Falling For You stamp set on the card below.
And then... I thought why not add a dragonfly to the card! I had one die cut out of Gold Foil paper (from THIS card) and decided to add it to my birthday card version of the So Detailed thinlit card! The birthday greeting in the card below is from the Best Birds stamp set.
