Another fun card we made in my recent stamp class is this cool

Window Sheet Card.

It is a little difficult to photograph to fully capture the "cool factor" of this card..

The Window Sheet Overlay piece has been EMBOSSED with the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder in the Big Shot, then placed over Island Indigo cardstock... it's so totally cool in person!

To attach the window sheet, use Snail under the strip of DSP and use one glue dot under the punched Mosaic piece.

 I wish I could remember who this idea came from.. it was from a swap at Convention .. if it was YOU, leave me a comment and let me know.

Clearly Thanks Window Sheet cards

I came across a pile of these 'CLEARLY THANKS WINDOW SHEETS' that I forgot I had... (I'm sure nobody else does that!) .. and decided to make up some really quick Thank You cards to send for customer orders I've received. 

I layered the window sheet over some Sweet Pea Designer paper (pg 33 Occasions mini) and added some Sweet Pea Felt Flowers (pg 32) and some beautiful Pretty in Pink Satin ribbon (pg 27).

 

This sheet is called CLEARLY THANKS and is 8-1/2"x11" and is meant to be cut into 1/4ths to make 4 cards.  The upper right has small polkadots but it's hard to see here.

Clearly Amazing Window Sheet class by Patty Bennett

Last week I taught a class using the Stampin' Up! window sheets.  There are 3 different packs, sold on pg 169 in the catalog, but you really have to SEE these wonderful accessories to appreciate them!!!

This window sheet is called Flower Fantasy and is a 12x12 sheet with vines and flowers printed on it... it coordinates perfectly with COTTAGE WALL Designer Paper.  LOVE this one!

This 12x12 sheet is called SEASONAL PIECES.  It features enough printed pieces to make 7 projects and also has 2 embellishment pieces.

And here are the samples we made in class this week:

BELOW: Using the upper left flower piece in the Seasonal Thanks sheet mounted on a Melon Mambo folded card.  Adhesive is placed under the area where the ribbon is, and also under a few flower centers.

BELOW: Using the Dandelion piece from the CLEARLY THANKS sheet, we used sponge daubers and chalk to color the images on the sheet!  The window sheet is adhered to the cardstock using brads in the flower centers.

BELOW: Using 4x4 pieces of the FLOWER FANTASY sheet, layered onto 4x4 pieces from the Cottage Wall DSP pack and Rich Razzleberry cardstock, we made these cards.   The window sheet is adhered to the card using Rhinestone brads in flower centers.

BELOW: and for the 4th card, we used this technique I learned at the Stampin' Up! Convention this month.  Use the printed Tree piece from the SEASONAL THANKS window sheet, and added more white "snow" using a brush (paint brush or dry aqua painter tip) and white CRAFT ink, then heat emboss that with Irridescent Ice emb. powder and a heat tool. Layer it onto any dark cardstock (this is Not Quite Navy).  The adhesive is under the trunk and under some branches.

Mary had a great alternate way to use the Melon Mambo DSP strip on the flower card:

and PJ used Rhinestone brads on the Dandelon card and placed her ribbon under the window sheet:

Can You See It!!?? It's CLEARLY Fabulous!

They are CLEARLY one of the neatest new accessories in the New Catalog....

This is a 12x12 Clear/Printed Window Sheet called FLOWER FANTASY - you can find it in the middle of page 169 in the new Stampin' Up! Catalog (item code 115705) .... but honestly .. I think they are hard to see in the catalog, so I wanted you to see what they look like!

Here are 2 cards we did at Rita's workshop, placed on top of the Flower Fantasy sheet:

For these cards we used the new COTTAGE WALL Designer Paper (item 115671, pg 160) and layered the clear window sheet on top.  I cut the window sheet into SIX pieces, each 4"x5-1/4".

we used rhinestone brads to anchor the window sheet to the DSP and then snailed the whole thing on to a top-fold Rich Razzleberry card.

I LOVE these new window sheets!!
